Ingeniero/a Civil Junior AutoCAD 2D

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Civil Engineer to work with 2‑D AutoCAD drawings for construction projects. The position is based at our industrial park in Cayacoa and offers full‑time, on‑site work.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret client‑provided plans in PDF and reproduce them in AutoCAD 2D.
• Support the design of formwork structures for various construction sites.
• Prepare reinforcement and detailing drawings, including material take‑offs.
• Analyze drawings to calculate quantities of equipment and materials required.
• Assist in material cost calculations and quotation preparation.
• Process incoming and outgoing equipment documentation.
• Gradually engage with the commercial side, visiting clients and offering consultative solutions.

Required profile

• Final‑year civil engineering student or recent graduate.
• Practical experience with AutoCAD 2D.
• Familiarity with importing PDF plans to scale in AutoCAD.
• Experience with material take‑offs, budgeting or junior‑level construction projects is a plus.
• Own vehicle and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Motivation to learn and grow within the company.

• Competitive monthly salary of RD$50,000 plus a RD$5,000 fuel allowance.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm, Saturday 8 am‑12 pm.
