About the role

BairesDev is looking for a senior Big Data Engineer to join its fully remote team. You will collaborate with developers, tech leads, and architects to design and implement data solutions that drive business impact for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside developers, tech leads and architects to build scalable, high‑availability data solutions.
• Improve existing data architecture or create new architectures that enhance core business processes.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data.
• Contribute to the differentiation of each client by delivering innovative data products.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a software developer (Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript preferred).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Big Data concepts such as governance, metadata management, data lineage, impact analysis and policy enforcement.
• Advanced English proficiency.
