Information Technology Specialist (Tier 2+)

About the role

An experienced IT Specialist (Level 2+) with 4-5 years of hands-on technical support and infrastructure management experience is sought. You will act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, oversee day-to-day IT operations and help with system administration, network management and security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation for hardware, software, network and system issues, resolving ticket escalations within defined SLAs.
• Manage identity and access management solutions (Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta or Google Workspace), including provisioning, policy enforcement and offboarding.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot local network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi) and cloud systems (AWS, Azure or M365).
• Deploy, configure and maintain Windows/Mac endpoints using MDM tools (Intune, Jamf) and enforce endpoint protection and antivirus protocols.
• Assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, system migrations and security audits, and maintain internal technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Required profile

• 4-5 years in a dedicated IT support, systems administration or desktop engineering role.
• Excellent problem-solving, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Preferred: CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Admin Associate or CCNA; familiarity with PowerShell, Bash or Python; basic understanding of IT compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA) and cybersecurity best practices.

• Windows and macOS enterprise environments.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
• Microsoft 365 / Entra ID or Google Workspace.
• MDM tools (Intune, Jamf) and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Freshservice).
