HR Support Specialist – Bilingual Customer Service

About the role

The HR Support Specialist provides bilingual assistance across HR, payroll, benefits and technology platforms, delivering professional support to internal and external customers while building international expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls and provide professional HR support.
• Gather and assess customer information through active listening and targeted questioning.
• Identify root causes, determine resolutions, and guide customers through next steps.
• Train users on HR and technology platforms and expedite corrections.
• Coordinate with internal teams, follow up with customers, and document interactions in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• High school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 1‑3 years experience in HR, payroll, benefits or PEO environments.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Calm and professional demeanor during challenging interactions.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Experience using CRM platforms and ticketing systems.
• Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.
