Hotel Deputy Director

About the role

As Deputy Director at Bahia Principe Explore La Romana, you will support the Hotel Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring top‑level service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency across the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor hotel policies, standards, and procedures in line with strategic direction.
• Supervise Department Managers, providing guidance and coordination to achieve operational excellence.
• Track guest satisfaction metrics (ReviewPro, CScore, NPS) and drive continuous improvement.
• Act as primary contact for guest relations, handling complex situations and ensuring prompt resolution.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans to keep facilities aligned with brand standards.
• Support HR policy development, employee engagement, and compliance with labor regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring accurate information across all departments.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork in line with Bahia Principe values.

Required profile

• University degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Business Administration; postgraduate studies in Hotel Management are a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in all‑inclusive resort operations.
• Strong understanding of destination markets and intercultural environments.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional language is highly valued.
• Goal‑oriented with strong leadership, decision‑making, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software.
• Experience using hotel management systems covering finance, operations, and supply chain.
