About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead the strategic and operational HR function, ensure compliance with Dominican labor legislation, strengthen the organizational culture, and drive talent development.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the full spectrum of HR activities.
• Guarantee adherence to current labor laws and internal policies.
• Design, implement and monitor HR policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Oversee personnel records, vacations, leaves, permits and other employee movements.
• Coordinate payroll, social security, Ministry of Labor and INFOTEP obligations.
• Advise senior management and department heads on people management and labor relations.
• Handle disciplinary matters and labor conflicts confidentially and in line with legislation.
• Implement performance evaluation, training plans and talent development programs.
• Promote initiatives that improve organizational climate, internal communication and employee engagement.
• Define and track HR performance indicators and report to the Director.
• Ensure proper use and updating of the Odoo system for HR processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Law or related fields.
• Specialization or master’s in Human Management, Organizational Development or similar (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a coordination, supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of the Dominican Republic Labor Code, TSS, Ministry of Labor and INFOTEP.
• Experience in labor relations, recruitment, personnel administration, organizational development and performance management.
