About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the institution’s financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities. This role ensures financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and provides timely information for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Direct financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Oversee preparation and presentation of financial statements and management reports.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financing sources.
• Analyze financial indicators and propose optimization strategies.
• Coordinate reporting for senior management, board, strategic partners, and funding agencies.
• Ensure compliance with financial, accounting, tax, and regulatory policies.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and funders.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Support decision‑making through financial analysis and risk assessment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related area (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and risk management.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting regulations.
• Experience in financial institutions, micro‑finance, or development sector (preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI and data analysis tools.
