About the role

We are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join the Sales team at Marsh in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This hybrid role involves working on‑site at least three days a week and focuses on identifying new market opportunities, advising clients with tailored solutions, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Apply a consultative, structured and scalable sales model to address complex prospect and client needs.
• Develop commercial proposals, presentations and RFP responses that clearly communicate solution value.
• Lead the full sales cycle for complex accounts—from identification to closure, including price negotiation and expectation management.
• Conduct market and industry research to pinpoint expansion areas and prioritize commercial objectives.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, stakeholders and business leaders to ensure satisfaction, increase market penetration and promote cross‑selling.
• Represent Marsh at associations, conferences and relevant events, including cold‑calling, to expand the professional network and capture opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field to Insurance.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in financial, insurance, corporate or consulting sectors.
• Proven ability to open doors and build trusted relationships.
• Strong results orientation and execution capability.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decisions.
• Experience using a CRM system.
• High energy, ambition and a long‑term vision.
• Advanced business English (mandatory).
