About the role

The Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead its bar operations. This key position ensures an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of service, quality, and operational efficiency within a collaborative and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the operation of all resort bars, guaranteeing quality, consistency, and service excellence.
• Coordinate and supervise the bar team, organizing shifts, roles, and staffing levels.
• Control inventories, supplies, glassware, equipment, and requisitions for the area.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, service protocols, and local regulations (Distintivo H).
• Participate in planning and execution of events, weddings, and special activities.
• Monitor team performance, conduct evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage administrative matters such as permits, vacations, contracts, and disciplinary actions.
• Lead operational briefings and maintain effective communication with other departments.
• Foster collaborative relationships with A&B, HR, Quality, and Public Relations teams.
• Track operational indicators to sustain efficiency and profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Administration or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in a similar role within luxury hotels.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, inventory control, and service standards.
• Expertise in mixology and premium cocktail trends.
• Experience managing beverage costs and leading teams under Forbes or AAA standards.
• Advanced English proficiency; basic French is a plus.
• Leadership, organizational ability, and results‑oriented mindset.
