Geotechnical Engineer (Ingeniero/a Geotécnico/a)

About the role

We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to prepare and review geotechnical studies, compaction controls, pavement designs and technical reports, ensuring high‑quality information and compliance with applicable standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan work weeks and periods to meet project schedules defined by the administration manager.
• Produce geotechnical study reports covering soil investigations, compaction control, pavement design and material testing.
• Supervise adherence to ASTM standards for field and laboratory procedures.
• Analyze all received data to generate conclusions and final reports.
• Prepare report memoranda, stratigraphic profiles, calculation sheets and photographic records.
• Review digitized raw field and laboratory data and convert them into report annexes.
• Coordinate the completeness and correctness of each report component.
• Validate the adequacy and accuracy of information before inclusion in reports.
• Deliver completed reports and flag special cases that fall outside standard decision patterns.
• Propose improvement actions to reduce delivery times and enhance technical quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Foundations Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
• Knowledge of foundations, slopes, bridges, quality control and construction with a focus on structural engineering.
• Experience in field work, laboratory testing, design or supervision.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for site visits.
• Relevant certifications as required by the role.
