General Manager

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven General Manager to lead the operation of one of our hospitality properties in the Dominican Republic. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving profitability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance.
• Ensure an outstanding experience for guests and clients.
• Oversee daily operations and guarantee compliance with quality standards.
• Define and implement commercial strategies to increase occupancy, revenue and profitability.
• Monitor operational, financial and guest‑satisfaction KPIs.
• Manage budgets and allocate property resources efficiently.
• Build strategic relationships with partners, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and standards.
• Handle complex situations and make timely decisions to maintain operational continuity.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, Operations Manager or a senior role in the tourism industry.
• Proven track record leading high‑performance teams.
• Strong knowledge of operations, commercial, revenue and financial management.
• Experience managing P&L, budgets and KPIs.
• Familiarity with the Dominican Republic tourism market.
• Leadership, negotiation and decision‑making abilities.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on service excellence.
• Advanced English proficiency.
