Frontend & WordPress Developer

About the role

The Front‑End / WordPress Developer will design, build and maintain customer‑facing websites, marketing platforms and internal web interfaces for our technology department. You will work on‑site in Blue Mall, Santo Domingo, collaborating with backend, UI/UX, marketing and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress sites and custom web interfaces.
• Customize themes, child‑themes, templates, hooks, filters, shortcodes and plugins.
• Write or modify PHP functionality for WordPress and the company’s custom CRM.
• Connect WordPress forms and pages to REST APIs via Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda.
• Integrate WordPress, PHP CRM modules, MySQL databases and backend services.
• Build responsive UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimise plugins, themes, API integrations, PHP errors, MySQL queries and hosting deployments.
• Ensure page‑speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Provide production support and resolve operational incidents.

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress development and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL and REST API integration.
• Experience building responsive front‑end interfaces.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on‑site, full‑time environment.
