Facilities & Maintenance Technician

About the role

Integer is looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Technician who will carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on facility and production equipment, and work independently on assigned work orders. The role covers a wide range of complex tasks across several facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on all major facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, install, repair, disassemble, replace and reassemble equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical issues with production equipment.
• Work with outside contractors when needed, such as procuring parts and services.
• Plan and carry out work requiring independent judgment, and investigate and implement new process technologies of small to moderate scope.
• Complete work orders independently and in a timely manner, and walk through the facility to monitor and report conditions.
• May assist other departments and engineers, train associates on production equipment, and identify electrical issues as they occur.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• 7 years of maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated, able to work in a team and with other departments.

Required skills

• Refrigeration and mechanical systems, with solid troubleshooting skills.
• HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic pressure systems.
• Excellent mechanical and basic electrical knowledge.
• Knowledge of CMMS and building automation systems is preferred.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office applications.
