About the role
The Catholic school is looking for a dedicated Computer Science teacher for primary education. The role involves delivering technology lessons to children in the first and second cycles of primary school, fostering digital literacy and critical thinking.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct computer classes for grades 1‑3, aligning with the school curriculum.
- Develop age‑appropriate learning materials and hands‑on activities.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school staff.
- Maintain classroom equipment and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate technology across subjects.
Required profile
- Licensed degree in Computer Science or Informatics.
- Resident of the Eastern Zone (Zona Oriental) of the Dominican Republic.
- Willingness or prior experience teaching primary‑level students.
- Age between 24 and 38 years.
Required skills
- Fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and software concepts.
- Ability to create simple instructional materials for young learners.
