Experienced Part 135 Charter Sales Professional

About the role

Portland Jets is expanding and seeks an experienced Part 135 Charter Sales professional to drive growth in its private aviation charter business. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, brokers, and corporate accounts, guiding them from initial inquiry through to completed trips.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage Part 135 charter sales opportunities.
• Respond promptly to charter inquiries and quote requests.
• Prepare competitive quotes and coordinate aircraft availability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with direct clients, brokers, corporate accounts, and aviation partners.
• Oversee the sales process from first contact to booking and trip completion.
• Collaborate closely with flight operations, scheduling, crew, and management teams.
• Follow up on leads, nurture repeat and referral business.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, trips, and sales activity.

Required profile

• Previous Part 135 charter sales experience.
• Strong understanding of the private aviation and charter industry.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and close charter business.
• Experience with charter quoting, aircraft pricing, and trip logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Highly organized and responsive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Existing relationships within the charter, broker, or private aviation community are a plus.
