About the role

The Permit Specialist will coordinate and execute the full cycle of obtaining permits and licenses required for construction projects, especially in international hotel chains. You will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while supporting project teams across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the complete permit and licensing process for construction works.
• Interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements during the permitting process.
• Prepare and review all documentation needed for permit applications, ensuring technical and formal compliance.
• Monitor the status of permit and license requests and follow up with authorities.
• Track supplier activities related to permit processing.
• Ensure deadlines and standards are met throughout the permitting cycle.
• Assist in preparing periodic project reports for the division.
• Provide support to other areas within the Projects team as needed.

Required profile

• Education in Architecture or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a similar role, handling construction permits for internationally present hotel chains.
• Knowledge of construction, hotel complexes, local building regulations and construction norms.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with office software and construction management systems.
