Entry-Level Quality Inspector – Manufacturing

About the role

Integer is seeking an entry‑level Quality Inspector to support inspection and testing of materials and products throughout the manufacturing process. You will work under moderate supervision, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the company’s Quality System.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in‑process assemblies, and finished products.
• Use measurement tools such as pin gauges, calipers, optical comparators, SmartScope, and pull testers, ensuring equipment is calibrated.
• Identify non‑conforming items, initiate NCRs, and segregate material as required.
• Compile quality records, reports, and documentation following Good Documentation Practices.
• Support material transactions in Oracle and update COC/COA via customer portals (SQM, eCert).
• Participate in first‑article inspections, problem‑solving activities, and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Provide guidance and training to peers on inspection techniques and system usage.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate comfortable working with moderate supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow GMP and quality standards.
• Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and contribute to team success.

Required skills

• Experience with visual, dimensional and functional inspection methods.
• Proficiency using pin gauge, caliper, optical comparator, SmartScope, and pull tester.
• Knowledge of equipment calibration, NCR process, and sampling plans.
• Basic competency in Oracle for material transactions.
• Familiarity with GMP, Good Documentation Practices, and customer portal systems (SQM, eCert).
