Engineer II – Project

About the role

The Engineer II – Project will apply general engineering methods and tools to support product and process development in the medical‑device sector, ensuring that internal and external customer expectations are met while complying with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, adapting specifications and work instructions as needed.
• Review procedures and plans before implementation and conduct failure‑analysis on existing products, processes, and materials.
• Investigate, develop, document, and implement new product and process technologies of moderate complexity.
• Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work on portions of major projects or lead smaller‑scope projects.
• Collaborate with supervisors and mentors, working independently while adhering to QMS, FDA, safety, environmental, and security standards.
• Provide technical insight to anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in a medical‑device or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently with occasional guidance.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, FDA regulations, and company policies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
