Engineer II, Plastic Process

About the role

Develop and improve plastic processes to meet quality standards while minimizing cost. Support project transfers, equipment acquisition, and process validation within the Haina plant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve injection molding and extrusion processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Support transferred projects, corporate plastic initiatives, and detailed process analysis to identify root causes.
• Purchase, develop, and maintain equipment, tools, and fixtures for plastic manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Assist with process validations, non‑conformance investigations, audits, and onboarding of new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in injection molding.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, ability to work under pressure and handle ambiguity.
• Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Injection molding expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and MS Project.
• Familiarity with RJG universal molding certification (preferred).
