About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial operations of a brand‑new luxury all‑inclusive boutique resort in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. The role will oversee all accounting, treasury, and financial reporting functions during the pre‑opening phase and ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Accounting, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue and Cost Audits.
• Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Supervise month‑end closes, financial statements and executive reporting.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls and local tax regulations.
• Provide financial advice to the General Manager and executive committee.
• Manage cash flow, reconciliations, payments, inventories and fixed assets.
• Implement financial processes and controls for the resort opening.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Analyze profitability, F&B costs, payroll, CAPEX and operational performance.
• Lead, develop and supervise the Finance team.
• Collaborate closely with the Cluster Finance Director and corporate finance teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hotel finance, including senior roles such as Director, Assistant Director or Financial Controller.
• Experience in luxury resort and preferably all‑inclusive operations.
• Strong knowledge of USALI, budgeting, forecasting, closing and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and hotel‑specific financial systems.
• Fluent English (advanced) and Spanish.
• Proven track record in pre‑opening finance leadership and advisory.
