Director(a) de Alimentos y Bebidas – Pre‑opening Resort de Lujo

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Food & Beverage Director to lead the pre‑opening of a new luxury all‑inclusive boutique resort in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. The role will shape the F&B strategy, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive sustainable financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute the opening of restaurants, bars, banquet facilities and other consumption points.
• Define service standards, operating procedures and concept designs.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop the culinary offering.
• Recruit, train and develop the Food & Beverage team.
• Oversee daily operations and guest experience.
• Manage budgets, costs, inventories, productivity and profitability.
• Analyze financial results, guest feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate weddings, group events, special experiences and private functions.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety and service regulations.
• Work closely with Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and Operations departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Gastronomy, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of Food & Beverage experience, including senior leadership roles in luxury resorts.
• Proven experience with all‑inclusive operations and pre‑openings.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, revenue management and operational oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced English and fluent Spanish.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a focus on results and operational excellence.
