Director of Product Development

About the role

Dominicana & Partners DMC is seeking a Director of Product Development to lead the creation and launch of new hospitality products and experiences in Punta Cana. The role combines strategic market research with hands‑on execution, requiring an entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and design new product, experience and service offerings.
• Research trends, develop revenue‑stream models and build pricing, costing and profitability frameworks.
• Establish and manage partnerships with hotels, venues, suppliers, artisans and production partners.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and oversee supplier contracts.
• Create scalable processes for product development and coordinate with legal, accounting and other advisors.
• Lead the initial execution of concepts, ensuring quality, consistency and profitability across the portfolio.
• Support the commercial team in presenting and positioning new products to clients and industry partners.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial, resourceful professional with a proven track record of launching products or services.
• Deep knowledge of the Dominican Republic hospitality market.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, turn ideas into actionable plans and drive results.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
