Director, Future Portfolio & Strategic Partnerships – Oncology LATAM

About the role

This senior individual contributor position leads the development of the commercial strategy for future oncology assets and strategic partnerships across Latin America (excluding Brazil and Mexico). Reporting to the Regional Commercial Head, Oncology LATAM, the role influences global, intercontinental and regional teams to ensure market‑specific realities shape portfolio decisions and launch readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Define and advance the LATAM future oncology portfolio strategy, adapting global asset plans to regional regulatory, access, medical and financial contexts.
• Lead opportunity assessment, portfolio prioritisation, early commercial planning and launch‑readiness frameworks for selected future assets.
• Establish readiness indicators, monitor progress and coordinate with market and cross‑functional teams.
• Provide external benchmarks, competitive intelligence and cross‑market insights to inform strategic choices.
• Facilitate cross‑market learning and alignment, ensuring market teams are prepared for upcoming launches.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in oncology commercial strategy, portfolio planning or strategic partnership development within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across global, regional and market functions without direct line authority.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in market access, regulatory and financial assessment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency for LATAM markets is a plus.
