DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers to design, implement and maintain cloud‑native and on‑premise infrastructure across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale and maintain production Kubernetes clusters in Azure.
• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage on‑premise data‑center resources, virtualization (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V) and networking.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack) and ensure security hardening.
• Handle database administration (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Develop disaster‑recovery plans and automated backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and a four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record of managing Azure cloud infrastructure and on‑premise environments.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work autonomously in Agile/Scrum teams.
