Deputy Hotel Manager – Bávaro Resort

About the role

As Deputy Hotel Manager you will support the Hotel Manager in leading a large all‑inclusive resort in Bávaro. You will ensure service excellence, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency while fostering a high‑performance culture aligned with Bahia Principe’s HEART values.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and ensure compliance with hotel policies, standards and operational procedures.
• Support strategic direction and overall leadership of the property.
• Supervise Department Managers to achieve operational excellence across all areas.
• Monitor guest satisfaction metrics (ReviewPro, CScore, NPS) and drive corrective actions.
• Handle complex guest relations issues and ensure timely resolutions.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans to keep facilities aligned with brand standards.
• Assist in developing HR policies, employee engagement and talent development.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage operational budgets and contribute to financial targets.
• Promote sustainability, health & safety standards and service quality certifications.

Required profile

• University degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field.
• Post‑graduate studies in Hotel Management or a Master’s in Hospitality Management are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience as Deputy Hotel Manager in an international, all‑inclusive resort (700+ rooms) or at least 1 year as Hotel Manager.
• Experience in Caribbean destinations preferred.
