Data Engineer (Python, AWS, DBT) – Remote

About the role

FullStack is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join its talent network and work on flexible, project‑based assignments for U.S. clients. You will integrate directly into the client’s team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to build and maintain data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows using DBT and Airbyte.
• Implement data integration and ingestion processes on the AWS stack (S3, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs in production environments.
• Ensure continuous integration and delivery using Docker, Linux CLI, and GitHub Actions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and large, complex systems.

Required skills

• Python for data processing and automation.
• SQL and PostgreSQL, including data modeling concepts.
• DBT for transformation workflows.
• Airbyte for data ingestion.
• AWS services: S3, Lambda, Step Functions.
• RESTful API development.
• Docker, Linux command line, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
