Customs Brokerage Agent

About the role

Expeditors is seeking a Customs Brokerage Agent to ensure smooth and timely customs processes for our clients in Santo Domingo. You will be responsible for accurate data entry, client billing, and compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.
• Accurate and timely data entry into operational systems.
• Track and trace customs files and reporting.
• Prepare and verify customs declarations for submission to authorities.
• Maintain compliance with customs regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of customs brokerage process and legislation, especially classification, valuation, and origin.
• Understanding of ocean, road, and air documentation processes.
• Effective interpersonal skills and a proactive, organized approach.
• Fluent in English.
