Courier – Package Delivery and Pickup

About the role

FedEx is seeking courteous and efficient couriers to handle the delivery, sorting, and pickup of packages. The role involves completing paperwork, ensuring compliance with service standards, and maintaining safety and security of shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up, inspect, and deliver assigned packages accurately and on time.
• Complete all required documentation such as airway bills, delivery records, and customs paperwork.
• Verify package labeling, weight, size, hazardous material requirements, and insurance values.
• Maintain vehicle safety, follow local regulations, and uphold FedEx safety policies.
• Collect duties/taxes invoices for customs processing when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and support sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lb (32 kg) and handle packages up to 150 lb (68 kg) with equipment.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Basic English skills and strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to pass basic skills test (reading, map reading, sorting, math).
