Country Executive Director

About the role

AprendeTo is looking for a Country Executive Director to lead its operations in the Dominican Republic. You will be the on‑ground executor of the founder’s vision, turning strategy into a functional system that delivers mobile‑first learning content to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Build and inspire a local team including a coordinator, videographer, editor and customer service staff.
• Launch and manage the content production pipeline, ensuring a monthly calendar is delivered on time.
• Establish and operate telco partnerships (Claro, Altice, Viva) and financial network collaborations (Loteka, Bancas).
• Recruit, train and supervise a network of 20 Patrons who act as community ambassadors across the country.
• Oversee pilot execution, monitor KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance and report progress to the Founder & CEO.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in building and managing cross‑functional teams.
• Strong track record of launching content or product operations in emerging markets.
• Ability to negotiate and operationalise partnerships with telecoms and financial institutions.
• Deep understanding of Dominican Republic’s cultural and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with local stakeholders and international leadership.
