Corporate Procurement Director – Hospitality (Dominican Republic)

About the role

This executive opportunity is for a Corporate Procurement Director who will shape the sourcing, import and logistics strategy for a growing hospitality group operating multiple hotel properties in the Caribbean. The role focuses on ensuring timely supply of critical items, driving cost efficiencies and maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a corporate procurement strategy for local and international suppliers.
• Manage imports, logistics and multi‑property distribution networks.
• Negotiate strategic contracts with global vendors to achieve cost reductions and economies of scale.
• Oversee critical inventory levels to guarantee operational continuity.
• Align supply‑chain initiatives with Operations, Finance and senior leadership.
• Identify, qualify and develop strategic supplier relationships.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven background in hospitality or resort environments.
• Extensive experience in international logistics and import management.
• Fluent Spanish (native) and advanced English (C1/C2); additional language a plus.
