Coordinador de Calidad I – Supplier Quality

About the role

The Supplier Quality Coordinator will lead inspection activities for the Operations and Supplier Quality departments, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and supporting the Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inspection activities for incoming and supplier quality, including process inspections.
• Ensure adherence to applicable quality procedures and standards.
• Prepare and distribute status reports for internal audits, customer and supplier complaints.
• Support pending quality tasks until closure and manage the hold area for incoming parts.
• Assign inspections to technicians, monitor performance, and maintain inspection records.
• Develop and evaluate new test and inspection methods, and train new and existing inspectors.
• Assist with inspections, training sessions, and audit activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date metrics, work instructions, control plans, PFMEA, and process flow diagrams.
• Handle sample shipments to suppliers, manage non‑conforming material returns (RMA), and follow DMRs to closure.
• Support weekly/monthly supplier meetings and ISO/EQMS audit preparations.
• Participate in health, safety, and environmental trainings and comply with 5S/MESH standards.

Required profile

• Final‑year student in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of SPC and Minitab.
• Preferably an internal ISO 9001 auditor.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Quality, Engineering, PLS or Supply Chain.
