About the role

The Knowledge Management & Social Infrastructure Consultant will support the Social Infrastructure Group (GIS) of the Inter-American Development Bank in creating, editing, and disseminating high‑quality knowledge products. This role combines editorial expertise with coordination of communication strategies to promote sustainable social infrastructure projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, quality‑check, and publish technical documents, guides, studies, blogs, and other specialized materials.
• Manage editorial workflows in the Bank’s institutional systems, including the Convergencia platform.
• Coordinate the full product development cycle with authors, consultants, reviewers, designers, translators, and internal units to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Work with INE and Bank communications teams to plan and execute diffusion strategies for publications, events, and trainings.
• Produce communication assets such as news releases, social‑media messages, presentations, graphics, videos, and other digital content.
• Maintain digital assets (intranet, digital catalog, databases, dashboards) and ensure they are up‑to‑date.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on indicators related to knowledge product production, dissemination, and usage.
• Provide operational support for reports, events, training activities, and internal knowledge‑management processes.

Required profile

• Motivated, proactive professional with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in knowledge‑management or communications within an international or development context is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Convergencia platform (Bank’s content‑management system).
