Construction Project Professionals – Expression of Interest

About the role

Barrick is inviting experienced construction and project professionals to express interest in joining the Pueblo Viejo Projects Team in the Dominican Republic. The positions support the planning, execution and delivery of large‑scale mining and heavy‑civil capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute major capital projects safely and efficiently.
• Manage contractors and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget and quality to meet project objectives.
• Support project planning, scheduling and reporting activities.
• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to Barrick’s health, safety, environmental and sustainability standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or Industrial preferred).
• Proven experience in mining, heavy civil construction or large industrial projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles and construction best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• English proficiency is an advantage for several roles.
