About the role

We are looking for a passionate cook specialized in Dominican criolla cuisine to lead the preparation and seasoning of traditional dishes at our new establishment in Verón, Punta Cana. The role includes ensuring flavor, quality, presentation, and operational control of the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and season a variety of traditional Dominican dishes, including stews, meats, rice, and fried items.
• Maintain food quality, taste consistency, and attractive presentation.
• Control kitchen costs, portion sizes, and waste management.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP/BPM).
• Operate industrial kitchen equipment such as stoves, fryers, and grills.
• Manage daily inventory of kitchen supplies.

Required profile

• High school diploma (Bachiller) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in similar cooking positions.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Dominican criolla recipes and techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead a kitchen team.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of RD$30,000
• Legal tip proportion of at least 10%
