Clojure Full Stack Engineer – Remote

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a senior Clojure Full Stack Engineer to own end‑to‑end features for a retail AI outfitting platform. You will design PostgreSQL schemas, implement Clojure APIs, and create ClojureScript review UIs used daily by the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain database schemas in PostgreSQL.
• Develop backend services in Clojure that integrate with large‑language‑model (LLM) APIs.
• Build and review frontend interfaces using ClojureScript.
• Orchestrate multi‑step AI workflows with appropriate tooling.
• Contribute to semantic search pipelines across massive product catalogs.
• Make independent architectural decisions and ship features at scale.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Clojure and hands‑on experience with ClojureScript.
• Solid background in PostgreSQL schema design and SQL.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs in production environments.
• Advanced English communication skills.
