About the role

The Driver & Logistics Assistant supports the logistics department by handling the receipt, storage, distribution and delivery of goods such as food, materials, tools and equipment. The role combines vehicle operation, warehouse management and administrative reporting to ensure program centers receive the supplies they need.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and record documentation for incoming supplies and donations.
• Operate forklifts and hydraulic loaders to move, store and arrange items in the warehouse.
• Prepare and deliver orders to Convoy of Hope’s warehouse and various program centers (Logistics, Administration, Nutrition, Women Empowerment, Agriculture).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock counts.
• Promote correct use of safety equipment and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Generate reports on travel expenses, schedules, route sheets and inventory movements.
• Drive trucks and operate forklifts as needed to fulfill assignments.

Required profile

• Engineering studies with training in food handling, storage and inventory systems.
• Minimum three years of experience in inventory and warehouse management, preferably with OSFL or similar organizations.
• Valid Category 3 driver’s license for 4×4 trucks.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently with strong initiative.
