Buyer II – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Integer is seeking a Buyer II to manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for raw materials and components supporting its production lines. The role ensures supply continuity, cost efficiency, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze demand and design changes to place, cancel, or reschedule purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Issue requests for quotations, follow up, and evaluate purchase price variances.
• Prepare annual purchase budgets and standard cost estimates.
• Monitor purchase orders in the ERP system, confirm delivery dates, and track shipments.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage excess or slow‑moving stock, and coordinate raw‑material receipt, inspection, and release.
• Update and communicate supplier performance reports and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality to resolve corrective actions, non‑conforming material, and returns to vendor.
• Load new suppliers and maintain supplier data in the Oracle system.
• Support Supplier Quality Engineers with supplier file information.
• Assist finance in resolving accounting and payment issues.

Required profile

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience as a buyer or in a comparable procurement role.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, QMS, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
• APICS certification or equivalent supply‑chain knowledge.
• Experience with inventory management techniques such as VMI, KanBan, Min‑Max, and MRP.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and numeric agility.
