Business Development Representative (Remote)

About the role

As a Business Development Representative you will drive growth by creating strategic talent partnerships with US‑based staffing clients. You will work remotely from the Dominican Republic, engaging decision‑makers, generating qualified leads, and securing signed agreements to expand Emapta’s global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule 5‑7 qualified appointments per week with decision‑makers.
• Conduct discovery calls and close signed client agreements (MSA).
• Navigate gatekeepers and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Deliver compelling elevator pitches highlighting Emapta’s differentiators.
• Qualify opportunities using the Client Discovery Form.
• Manage outreach and sales pipelines using Apollo and AirCall.
• Send personalized follow‑up emails and voicemails.
• Collaborate with recruiters and leadership on client engagement strategies.
• Participate in weekly KPI review meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of business development or sales experience in US‑based staffing (direct placement, contract, or temporary).
• Strong understanding of US direct placement staffing models and recruitment processes.
• Proven track record of generating leads and booking appointments through outbound activities.
• Excellent verbal English with a clear, neutral accent for client‑facing interactions.
• Highly self‑motivated, independent, and consistently meets targets.
• Strong written communication for professional client correspondence.
