Business Development Analyst – Route-to-Market

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Business Development Analyst to provide advanced Route‑to‑Market analytics and strategic decision support for its Dominican Republic business. You will work independently to assess commercial performance, customer coverage, route productivity and sales execution across both Traditional Pre‑Sales and Mi Negocio operating models.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary analytical resource for Route‑to‑Market, identifying improvement opportunities and delivering actionable recommendations.
• Analyze performance of Traditional Pre‑Sales and Mi Negocio models, focusing on customer coverage, service levels and productivity.
• Develop and maintain analytical models, methodologies and performance metrics to evaluate commercial effectiveness.
• Conduct customer segmentation, territory assessments and route productivity analyses to guide resource allocation.
• Create business cases and scenario analyses for customer migration, route redesign and productivity initiatives.
• Identify trends, risks and performance gaps through advanced data analysis and propose corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Route‑to‑Market, Commercial Analytics, Sales Operations or Business Intelligence.
• Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and develop analytical reports.
• Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
