About the role
We are seeking a Store Assistant for the grocery department of a leading supermarket chain in Santo Domingo Oeste. The position is full‑time, on‑site, and part of the sales team responsible for keeping shelves stocked with the right product mix and providing a tidy, well‑organized shopping environment for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Stock the shelves of the assigned aisle with the appropriate variety of grocery items.
- Locate merchandise in the warehouse and transport it to the sales floor.
- Arrange products on shelves according to merchandising standards.
- Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and request replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the aisle.
- Assist customers in finding products when needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma (Graduado de Bachiller).
- Knowledge of merchandising principles.
- At least six months experience in a similar retail position.
- Availability to work full‑time on‑site.
