Auxiliar Contable (Conocimientos de Impuestos) – Santo Domingo Oeste

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our accounting department in Santo Domingo Oeste. The role focuses heavily on tax compliance and accounts‑payable processes for a high‑volume retail operation.

Key responsibilities

• Register and reconcile supplier invoices in the accounting system.
• Validate the structure and validity of electronic tax receipts (e‑CF).
• Prepare and submit tax reporting formats 606, 607, 608 and support the IT‑1 tax return.
• Apply ISR and ITBIS withholdings according to the type of supplier and service.
• Manage credit notes for merchandise returns.
• Monitor accounts‑payable aging and update supplier statements.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities.

Required profile

• Student near graduation or graduate in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Applied knowledge of ITBIS, withholdings and Dominican tax receipts.
• Experience with DGII filing formats.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
