About the role

The role ensures the reasonableness, accuracy and regulatory compliance (IFRS/IAS) of accounting and financial information, evaluates internal processes and controls, proposes continuous improvements, and reports key findings to strengthen client management.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate accounting records, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Evaluate administrative and financial processes, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare internal audit reports with findings, recommendations and action plans.
• Monitor internal controls and suggest adjustments to strengthen client management.
• Ensure traceability and proper documentation of all reviews performed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in internal or external audit, or accounting process review.
• Experience in BPO, shared services or audit firms is desirable.
• Analytical thinking and results orientation.
• Clear, diplomatic communication with clients.
• Teamwork and adaptability to outsourcing structures.
• Professional ethics and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/IAS).
• Understanding of internal control processes and risk management.
• Proficiency with accounting analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Dominican Republic tax legislation (desirable).
