Assistant Product Manager – Caribbean Region

About the role

Midea LATAM North is seeking an Assistant Product Manager for the Caribbean region. You will support product strategy, portfolio optimization, and commercial execution across multiple markets, ensuring the product line remains competitive, profitable, and aligned with local customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the Caribbean product portfolio, including SKU mix, pricing, and phase‑in/phase‑out plans.
• Analyze sales performance, inventory, margins, and turnover to drive profitable decisions.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking by country, category, and channel.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Service, and regional teams to align product initiatives.
• Support commercial negotiations with product data, pricing analysis, and profitability assessments.
• Prepare executive presentations for customers, distributors, and senior management.
• Lead product launches and ensure all commercial support materials are available.
• Monitor forecasts, demand, inventory levels, and market opportunities.
• Travel to markets, customers, distributors, and points of sale as required.
• Identify commercial, technical, regulatory, and competitive risks across markets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, Trade Marketing, or related commercial roles.
• Strong organizational, stakeholder‑management, and business‑judgment skills.
• Ability to work under pressure across multiple countries and adapt strategies to local needs.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English; French or Portuguese a plus.
• Valid U.S. visa and willingness to travel within the assigned markets.
