Assistant Account Manager – Back Office (Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager to provide administrative and operational support to the Account Management team of a U.S.-based insurance company. The position is based in Santo Domingo and requires full-time onsite presence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update client and account information in internal systems.
• Perform data entry and keep databases current.
• Organize and manage documentation related to clients and insurance policies.
• Track pending requests, documents, and processes.
• Provide operational and administrative assistance to the Account Manager.
• Communicate with clients, insurers, and internal teams as needed.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance, back‑office, administration, customer service or call‑center environments.
• 100% fluent English – spoken and written – as all communication and systems are in English.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and professional conversation skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and professionalism.
• Availability to work onsite in Santo Domingo, Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm.
• Spanish required; Portuguese, Creole or another third language is a plus.
