About the role

MHPTV Auditores & Consultores is seeking a motivated Audit Associate to join its financial services team. The role offers direct exposure to banking and financial institution clients, working alongside senior auditors, managers, and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the audit of financial statements for banks and other financial entities.
• Execute audit tests, prepare work papers and document findings.
• Review accounts, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support audit areas such as credit portfolios, investments, deposits and treasury.
• Identify significant differences or issues, document results and communicate them.
• Follow up on client information requests and ensure timely delivery of audit deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience in external audit, preferably within banks or financial institutions.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and organized work habits.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Familiarity with ISA (International Standards on Auditing).
