Analista de Planeamiento de Demanda

About the role

We are looking for a Demand Planning Analyst to lead the demand planning process, generate and analyze sales forecasts, and ensure a reliable demand plan that supports S&OP, optimizes service levels and reduces variability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop statistical forecasts using analytical tools and assess historical trends, seasonality and market behavior.
• Coordinate Demand Review meetings and consolidate agreements with Commercial, Marketing and Finance teams.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities, propose improvements to production planning systems, and prepare S&OP deliverables.
• Measure forecast accuracy, WMAPE, bias, perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement plans.
• Analyze performance of new products, monitor product life‑cycle and run scenario simulations.
• Lead S&OP process meetings, create executive presentations and track commitments to the S&OP calendar.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Engineering or related fields.
• 1‑2 years of experience as a demand specialist, coordinator or planner.
• Advanced knowledge of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
• Current residence in Santo Domingo Oeste or willingness to relocate, with immediate availability.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
• Power BI for data visualization.
• SAP modules such as APO, IBP or BW.
