Analista de Control de Presupuesto Supply Chain

About the role

The Supply Chain Budget Control Analyst will monitor and manage the financial plan for the Supply Chain function, ensuring that purchasing, logistics, inventory and distribution costs stay within approved limits. This role supports decision‑making by providing accurate cost analysis and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and track the annual budget for purchasing, transportation, storage, imports and inventory.
• Control logistical, operational and procurement costs, identifying variances against the approved budget.
• Analyze budget deviations and produce financial impact reports for management.
• Validate purchase requisitions and operational expenses against allocated budgets.
• Monitor supplier contracts from a budgeting perspective.
• Assist in demand planning and assess its effect on costs and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance teams to ensure expense control.
• Track key financial indicators such as cost per unit, inventory turnover, transportation cost and service level.
• Recommend cost‑optimization and operational efficiency actions.
• Support internal and external audits related to costs and budgeting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Commercial Engineering or related fields.
• 2‑3 years of experience in finance, accounting or budgeting roles.
• Current residence in Santo Domingo Oeste or willingness to relocate.
• Immediate availability.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
