AI Engineer (Python) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology consultancy with more than 15 years of experience and a team of 4,000+ remote engineers, is hiring an AI Engineer who designs and develops intelligent systems with large language models and modern Python frameworks. The engineer connects AI research to practical use, making sure generative models are integrated into scalable production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered applications using Python, LLMs and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain.
• Develop and optimise retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for context-aware, accurate AI responses.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing software ecosystems via APIs and microservices.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and run high-impact generative AI use cases.
• Ensure reliability and performance of AI features through testing and production monitoring.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or AI development.
• Proven expertise building AI systems with Python and large language models.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain to build generative applications.
• Strong background integrating AI models and modern frameworks into production systems.
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices applied to AI workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
