Accounting Manager

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia is building its pre‑opening finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager will lead daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records and support timely reporting while complying with Four Seasons policies and Dominican accounting and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, cashiering and balance‑sheet reconciliations on a daily basis.
• Participate in pre‑opening activities such as implementing and testing financial systems, developing accounting procedures, creating the chart of accounts and establishing internal controls.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
• Review balance‑sheet accounts and supporting schedules, investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing full‑cycle accounting functions, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of Dominican accounting standards and tax requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced pre‑opening setting and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
