About the role

We are looking for a Senior Lawyer to provide comprehensive legal advice, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage legal risks across the organization. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners in the entertainment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with artists, producers, suppliers and other third parties.
• Represent the organization in courts, administrative bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Advise on image rights, intellectual property, content licensing and related artist rights.
• Interpret and apply regulatory frameworks, especially anti‑money laundering, anti‑corruption and compliance statutes.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls to guarantee policy and regulatory adherence.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal, contractual and compliance risks.
• Update policies, procedures and compliance controls regularly.
• Conduct due‑diligence checks on artists, representatives, suppliers and other third parties.
• Provide guidance on personal data protection and confidential information handling.
• Maintain and update contract templates and ensure ongoing contractual compliance.
• Coordinate legal matters with Commercial, Finance, Technology, Operations and Management teams.
• Work with external legal advisors when needed and prepare risk reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) and a current attorney license in the Dominican Republic.
• Certification or specialization in Compliance is desirable.
• Training in AML, anti‑corruption, corporate law, intellectual property and data protection is a plus.
• Strong professional judgment, ability to work under pressure and resolve conflicts.
